Joyce attended the School of Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin, and worked as a reporter for The Houston Chronicle and editor of several publications in Houston. She also owned a publishing company before beginning her commercial real estate career. Joyce joined REOC Austin in 1986 as a Land Specialist. She currently serves as a Senior Vice President.

Joyce is well-known as one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and successful land specialists in Central Texas. She represents land owners, users, developers and investors in locating, acquiring, marketing and selling office, industrial, retail, commercial, multi-family, single-family sites and development land.
